In December 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Living with Art, which included the work Untitled (Falling Man) by Ernest Tino Trova. The auction ended at the price of USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,421.53), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernest Tino Trova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study/Falling Man (Wheelman) in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 67,270.61).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Living with Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Falling Man) von Ernest Tino Trova zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.421,53) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernest Tino Trova erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study/Falling Man (Wheelman) im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 67.270,61).
