The work The Enlightened Savage by Enrique Chagoya was sold in the Contemporary Edition auction at Christies in New York in March 2020. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,813.40) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Enrique Chagoya have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May this year the work Homage to Goya II (10 works) was auctioned for USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,632.81).
