Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Emperor Yongzheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. In the The Imperial Sale auction, the work Running Script Calligraphy sold for HKD 420,000.00 (€ 42,186.55) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emperor Yongzheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Xingshu, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 937,500.00 (€ 91,770.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emperor Yongzheng erzielte im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Imperial Sale wurde die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy für HKD 420.000,00 (€ 42.186,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Emperor Yongzheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Xingshu beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 937.500,00 (€ 91.770,77) versteigert wurde.
