Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Emperor Yongzheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2003. In the The Imperial Sale, Fine Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art auction, the work Running Script Calligraphy sold for HKD 167,300.00 (€ 17,423.12) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emperor Yongzheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Xingshu in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 937,500.00 (€ 91,770.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emperor Yongzheng erzielte im Juli 2003 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Imperial Sale, Fine Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art wurde die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy für HKD 167.300,00 (€ 17.423,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emperor Yongzheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Xingshu im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 937.500,00 (€ 91.770,77).
