This artwork by Emperor Yongzheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Calligraphy sold for HKD 252,000.00 (€ 31,444.42) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emperor Yongzheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Xingshu, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 937,500.00 (€ 91,770.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emperor Yongzheng erzielte im Juli letzten Jahres bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy für HKD 252.000,00 (€ 31.444,42) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Emperor Yongzheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Xingshu beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 937.500,00 (€ 91.770,77) versteigert wurde.
