This artwork by Emperor Yongzheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2001. In the IMPORTANT CHINESE ART auction, the work Poem In Running Cursive Script Calligraphy sold for HKD 164,500.00 (€ 23,450.35) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emperor Yongzheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Xingshu, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 937,500.00 (€ 91,770.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emperor Yongzheng erzielte im Oktober 2001 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion IMPORTANT CHINESE ART wurde die Arbeit Poem In Running Cursive Script Calligraphy für HKD 164.500,00 (€ 23.450,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Emperor Yongzheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Xingshu beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 937.500,00 (€ 91.770,77) versteigert wurde.
