In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session auction, the work The Tree sold for USD 80,500.00 (€ 61,875.48) - well above the upper estimate of USD 45,000.00. This high result makes The Tree the most expensive artwork by Ellen Altfest that we have observed at auctions so far.
