In the Prints & Multiples auction, the work Maternidad changed hands for USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,303.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elizabeth Catlett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman Fixing Her Hair in April 2014 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 107,426.10).
