Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Shift of Consciousness by Egor Zigura. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,298.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Egor Zigura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Colossus which Awakens in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,383.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Shift of Consciousness von Egor Zigura zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.298,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Egor Zigura auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Colossus which Awakens im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.383,24).
