The work Shift of Consciousness by Egor Zigura was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in April 2017. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,132.97), 34% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Egor Zigura - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Colossus which Awakens, which sold at auction in December 2016 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,383.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 34 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Shift of Consciousness von Egor Zigura wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.132,97) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Egor Zigura mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Colossus which Awakens beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.383,24) versteigert wurde.
