It achieved a price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,829.89), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Egor Zigura - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Colossus which Awakens, which sold at auction in December 2016 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,383.24).

Die Arbeit Colossus Holds Up the World von Egor Zigura kam im April 2018 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.829,89) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Für andere Arbeiten von Egor Zigura mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Colossus which Awakens beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.383,24) versteigert wurde.
