Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Colossus Awakens by Egor Zigura. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,676.38), 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Egor Zigura - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Colossus which Awakens, which sold at auction in December 2016 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,383.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Colossus Awakens von Egor Zigura zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.676,38) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Egor Zigura mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Colossus which Awakens beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.383,24) versteigert wurde.
