Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Colossus that Rebelled by Egor Zigura was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2017. The price achieved of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,501.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Egor Zigura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Colossus which Awakens in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,383.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Colossus that Rebelled von Egor Zigura kam im Dezember 2017 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.501,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Egor Zigura auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Colossus which Awakens im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.383,24).
