This artwork by Egor Zigura achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in December 2019. In the New Now auction, the work AWAKENING (MINIATURE) sold for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,727.53) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Egor Zigura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Colossus which Awakens in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,383.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Egor Zigura erzielte im Dezember 2019 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit AWAKENING (MINIATURE) für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.727,53) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Egor Zigura auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Colossus which Awakens im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.383,24).
