Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Colossus that Rebelled, Colossus Insurgent by Egor Zigura was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September 2016. The price achieved of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,559.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Egor Zigura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Colossus which Awakens in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,383.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Colossus that Rebelled, Colossus Insurgent von Egor Zigura wurde im September 2016 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.559,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Egor Zigura auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Colossus which Awakens im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.383,24).
