Sold at the lower estimate price
In May 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Col De Chemise by Domenico Gnoli. The result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 41,003.77) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domenico Gnoli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Black Hair in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 7,026,500.00 (€ 8,524,835.22).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Col De Chemise von Domenico Gnoli zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 41.003,77) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domenico Gnoli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Black Hair im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.026.500,00 (€ 8.524.835,22).
