In June this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work La Communiante (The Communicant) by Domenico Gnoli. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,261.31), 54% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domenico Gnoli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Black Hair in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 7,026,500.00 (€ 8,524,835.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 54 % übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Communiante (The Communicant) von Domenico Gnoli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.261,31) und damit 54% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domenico Gnoli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Black Hair im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.026.500,00 (€ 8.524.835,22).
