Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Centaur by Dimitri Hadzi for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,668.45). This price was achieved in the auction First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | NY at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dimitri Hadzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Levitation in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,302.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Centaur von Dimitri Hadzi für USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.668,45) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | NY bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dimitri Hadzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Levitation im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.302,36).
