The work Centaur by Dimitri Hadzi was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in February 2019. The result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,272.87) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dimitri Hadzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Levitation in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,302.36).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Centaur von Dimitri Hadzi wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.272,87) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dimitri Hadzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Levitation im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.302,36).
