Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Dimitri Hadzi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in March 2019. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Centaur with Shields sold for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,705.02) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dimitri Hadzi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Levitation, which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,302.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dimitri Hadzi erzielte im März 2019 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Centaur with Shields für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.705,02) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Dimitri Hadzi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Levitation beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.302,36) versteigert wurde.
