The work One Up Two Down by Derek Fordjour was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2020. It achieved a price of USD 250,000.00 (€ 222,598.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Derek Fordjour - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ornithologist, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 945,000.00 (€ 880,626.22).

Die Arbeit One Up Two Down von Derek Fordjour kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 222.598,17) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Für andere Arbeiten von Derek Fordjour mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ornithologist beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 945.000,00 (€ 880.626,22) versteigert wurde.
