In December last year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale in association with Yongle, which included the work Single Pivot Turn by Derek Fordjour. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 4,032,000.00 (€ 483,176.67), 34% above the upper estimate. Other works by Derek Fordjour have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 945,000.00 (€ 880,626.22) in May last year for the work Ornithologist.

Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale in association with Yongle durch, in der auch die Arbeit Single Pivot Turn von Derek Fordjour zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 4.032.000,00 (€ 483.176,67) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Derek Fordjour haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 945.000,00 (€ 880.626,22) im Mai letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Ornithologist beobachtet.
