Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2011 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Part II, which included the work Untitled (Metropolitan Front Desk) by David Korty. The »bidding war« ended at USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,173.07), 17% above the upper estimate. Other works by David Korty have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 34,600.00 (€ 23,556.64) in November 2007 for the work Untitled (Santa Monica).

Im Mai 2011 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Metropolitan Front Desk) von David Korty zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 12.173,07) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von David Korty haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 34.600,00 (€ 23.556,64) im November 2007 für die Arbeit Untitled (Santa Monica) beobachtet.
