Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Museum Of Natural History by David Korty was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2014. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,565.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Korty have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Santa Monica) in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 34,600.00 (€ 23,556.64).
