The work Steady State by David Budd was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2016. It achieved a price of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,389.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Budd - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ocean Park, which sold at auction in December 2016 for EUR 13,750.00.

Die Arbeit Steady State von David Budd kam im März 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.389,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von David Budd mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ocean Park beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für EUR 13.750,00 versteigert wurde.
