Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2014 Christies in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain, which included the work Waterfront M by David Budd. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Budd - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ocean Park, which sold at auction in December 2016 for EUR 13,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Waterfront M von David Budd zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von David Budd mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ocean Park beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für EUR 13.750,00 versteigert wurde.
