Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Dave Muller could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online auction, the work I. Scraps | II. Sports Illustrated (After Rockwell) #4 2 Works changed hands for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,226.58) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dave Muller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Beatle In Mercury'S Clothing in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 85,273.79).
