Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Untitled (1 7 3 6) by Daniel Hesidence. Here, the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,408.07). Admittedly, works by Daniel Hesidence have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 74,500.00 (€ 51,822.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (1 7 3 6) von Daniel Hesidence zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.408,07) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Hesidence auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 51.822,48).
