Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Craig Kauffman could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints and Multiples auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 24.00 (€ 18.92) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 100.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Craig Kauffman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May last year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 305,283.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Craig Kauffman konnte im September 2006 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 24,00 (€ 18,92) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 100,00 – 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Craig Kauffman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 305.283,76).
