The work Untitled, 1958 by Craig Kauffman was sold in the Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April 2021. The result of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,325.02) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Craig Kauffman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May last year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 305,283.76).

Die Arbeit Untitled, 1958 von Craig Kauffman wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.325,02) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Craig Kauffman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 305.283,76).
