Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Ohne Titel. Multiple by Costas Tsoclis was auctioned at VAN HAM in June 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had set an estimate of EUR 1,000.00, but failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 645.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Costas Tsoclis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek Boat in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 45,038.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Ohne Titel. Multiple von Costas Tsoclis im Juni 2013 bei VAN HAM versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung jedoch nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 645,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Costas Tsoclis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek Boat im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 45.038,05).
