Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Claudia Comte achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2016. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Eye To Eye 4/12 sold for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,517.23) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Claudia Comte - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Suspended Marble Raspberry (study), which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 44,500.00 (€ 51,616.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Claudia Comte erzielte im März 2016 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde die Arbeit Eye To Eye 4/12 für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.517,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Claudia Comte mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Suspended Marble Raspberry (study) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für GBP 44.500,00 (€ 51.616,81) versteigert wurde.
