This work without title by Cinga Samson was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May last year. It achieved a price of USD 151,200.00 (€ 140,900.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cinga Samson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lift Off, which sold at auction in October 2021 for GBP 321,300.00 (€ 380,653.72).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Cinga Samson kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 140.900,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Für andere Arbeiten von Cinga Samson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lift Off beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für GBP 321.300,00 (€ 380.653,72) versteigert wurde.
