It achieved a price of GBP 47,880.00 (€ 57,177.22), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Admittedly, works by Cinga Samson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lift Off in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 321,300.00 (€ 380,653.72).

Die Arbeit Prince Absalom's Council von Cinga Samson kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 47.880,00 (€ 57.177,22) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cinga Samson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lift Off im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 321.300,00 (€ 380.653,72).
