Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Unomeva I by Cinga Samson. It changed hands for a price of USD 38,100.00 (€ 35,997.73) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cinga Samson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lift Off in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 321,300.00 (€ 380,653.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unomeva I von Cinga Samson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 38.100,00 (€ 35.997,73) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cinga Samson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lift Off im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 321.300,00 (€ 380.653,72).
