The »bidding war« ended at USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,695.14), 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Christopher Wilmarth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Street Leaf #4 in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 229,000.00 (€ 155,909.59).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.695,14) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christopher Wilmarth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Street Leaf #4 im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 229.000,00 (€ 155.909,59).
