In February 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Cloud Sucking In Light by Christian Ward. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,184.06), 31% above the upper estimate. Other works by Christian Ward have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,900.22) in September 2011 for the work Desert Hole.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 31 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cloud Sucking In Light von Christian Ward zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.184,06) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Christian Ward haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.900,22) im September 2011 für die Arbeit Desert Hole beobachtet.
