Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Christian Rosa was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in April 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,359.95) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Rosa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Something In The Way in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 116,500.00 (€ 148,753.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Christian Rosa wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.359,95) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Rosa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Something In The Way im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 116.500,00 (€ 148.753,67).
