Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September last year Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included this untitled work by Christian Rosa. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,680.00 (€ 23,183.07). Admittedly, works by Christian Rosa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Something In The Way in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 116,500.00 (€ 148,753.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Christian Rosa zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.680,00 (€ 23.183,07) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christian Rosa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Something In The Way im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 116.500,00 (€ 148.753,67).
