This artwork by Christian Rosa achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in April last year. In the New Now auction, the work without title sold for GBP 27,720.00 (€ 33,055.12) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Christian Rosa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Something In The Way in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 116,500.00 (€ 148,753.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christian Rosa erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 27.720,00 (€ 33.055,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christian Rosa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Something In The Way im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 116.500,00 (€ 148.753,67).
