Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Sothebys in Cologne held the auction Contemporary Passions, which included the work This is Barely Noble by Christian Rosa. The price achieved of EUR 16,380.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Christian Rosa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Something In The Way in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 116,500.00 (€ 148,753.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in Köln die Auktion Contemporary Passions durch, in der auch die Arbeit This is Barely Noble von Christian Rosa zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 16.380,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christian Rosa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Something In The Way im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 116.500,00 (€ 148.753,67).
