Auction result well in line with expectations
The work All My Clothes by Charles Ray was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale Session I auction at Christies in New York in May 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 161,000.00 (€ 146,443.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Ray achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Aluminum Girl in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 4,282,500.00 (€ 3,463,684.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit All My Clothes von Charles Ray wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale Session I bei Christies in New York versteigert.
