This work without title by Charles Hinman was auctioned at Bonhams in July this year. It achieved a price of USD 9,600.00 (€ 8,711.43), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Hinman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aeneas, which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 34,375.00 (€ 27,221.25).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Charles Hinman kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.600,00 (€ 8.711,43) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles Hinman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Aeneas beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 34.375,00 (€ 27.221,25) versteigert wurde.
