Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rubellite by Charles Hinman was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,728.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Hinman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aeneas in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 34,375.00 (€ 27,221.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rubellite von Charles Hinman kam im Juli 2021 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.032,00 (€ 4.728,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Hinman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aeneas im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 34.375,00 (€ 27.221,25).
