The work Turning Point, 1988 by Charles Hinman was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in July 2018. It achieved a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 23,492.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Charles Hinman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Aeneas sold at auction in September 2014 with the realized price of USD 34,375.00 (€ 27,221.25).
