In October 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Feeding The Gulls by Charles Avery. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,364.62), 41% above the upper estimate. Other works by Charles Avery have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 14,375.00 (€ 20,107.03) in October 2015 for the work Untitled (IMIM; Ray (detail)).

Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Feeding The Gulls von Charles Avery zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 14.364,62) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Charles Avery haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.375,00 (€ 20.107,03) im Oktober 2015 für die Arbeit Untitled (IMIM; Ray (detail)) beobachtet.
