It achieved a price of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,375.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Admittedly, works by Charles Avery have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (IMIM; Ray (detail)) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 14,375.00 (€ 20,107.03).

Die Arbeit Two works: (i) What Them Dogs Don't Know They Know; (ii) Constructing the Super-Triangle von Charles Avery kam im September 2009 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.375,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Avery auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (IMIM; Ray (detail)) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.375,00 (€ 20.107,03).
