Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Glaïeuls by Chaïm Soutine was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in February 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 175,000.00 (€ 204,143.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chaïm Soutine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Bœuf in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 28,165,000.00 (€ 25,618,519.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Glaïeuls von Chaïm Soutine wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 175.000,00 (€ 204.143,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chaïm Soutine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Bœuf im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.165.000,00 (€ 25.618.519,19).
