Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Berglandschap by Carel Willink was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 79,681.41). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carel Willink - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landschap Met Zeven Beelden, which sold at auction in December 2015 for EUR 241,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Berglandschap von Carel Willink kam im Februar 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 79.681,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Carel Willink mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landschap Met Zeven Beelden beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für EUR 241.500,00 versteigert wurde.
