Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Preparatory study for The Hermit (self portrait) by Carel Willink was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. It changed hands for a price of EUR 15,000.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 12,000.00 – 16,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carel Willink achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landschap Met Zeven Beelden in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 241,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Preparatory study for The Hermit (self portrait) von Carel Willink wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 15.000,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 16.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carel Willink erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landschap Met Zeven Beelden im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 241.500,00.
